Reflection - Hong Kong

Happy New Year to everyone who reads this! It's been quite some time since I made a blog post, still not used to this whole posting thing... but I hope you all had a good 2016. To kick things off I wanted to show an experiment design of mine here. Enjoy!

I'd wanted to play around with the imagery of the Hong Kong city landscape and wanted to see what I could do to it to make it more interesting and compelling.

I'd went with the idea of flipping a section of the landscape and making a somewhat larger/taller building.

This design was more of a play around with different stylings that I don't normally do, and to see what I could experiment with and how each element interacts with one another. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out but I still feel I need a lot more to improve on with this if I were to call this a 'completed' piece..
